Smellycat Productions donated its filming and photography services to “Give Kids The World” for their June 9th roller coaster marathon at Kings Dominion called “Coasting For Kids” in which roller coaster enthusiasts and theme park lovers rode two of the park’s roller coasters seven hours straight to raise funds and awareness for its mission of helping to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
Coasting For Kids is an annual fundraising event for “Give Kids the World”, which takes place at 11 amusement parks across North America. In 2012, the event raised more than $114,000.
Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
