Bedcrafters by Michelle is owned by Michelle Brumfield and Annette Lindsey. Bedcrafters sells custom designed mattresses to meet your comfort needs, headboards and footboards, linens, comforters, pillows…and most importantly: A Great Night’s Sleep!
Bedcrafters can build each mattress one at a time by specification to meet customer’s comfort level. Custom sizes can be made: i.e. boat mattresses, RV mattresses, and beds for your animals as well.
Michelle wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and provide a quality product that wasn’t available. 
She once worked in a factory, building mattresses by hand, and devoted 20 years of her life to the health care industry, working with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, chiropractors and sleep centers to better understand and meet customer needs.
Bedcrafters by Michelle is open Monday – Saturday 10am-6pm (Sunday by appointment only) and is located at 4500 John Tyler Hwy in Williamsburg VA. In addition, Michelle and Annette are extremely proud to announce their brand new second location in Richmond at the Short Pump Mall at 2014 Old Brick Road, Henrico VA.

Hey Francesca—thanks for the nice comment! Yes, Bedcrafters by Michelle is a really “out-of-the-box” retailer, and is passionate about helping people (and their pets;-) get a good night’s sleep. I have one of her beds, and it’s the best mattress I’ve ever had!
Michelle and Annette, assisted my husband and I many times in trying to make a decision on a mattress set. I had done at least three months of footwork and shopping looking for the perfect bed for my husband and I. This was a big decision for us. My husband and I are beyond middle age and wanted a top of the line mattress set as we age with aches, pains and health issues.. Michelle stated to us that most people spend more money on their cars than on their mattress sets. Which is not good! Most people spend at least 1/3 of their lives in bed. For us, the bed had to be not only comfortable, but was a future medical decision as well. Once my husband and I decided on the WINNDOM mattress set. Michelle and Annette themselves came to my home and measured our bed frame and helped with the preparation, foundation slats and supportive feet necessary. Then the bed was delivered. Two WONDERFUL fellows came and took their shoes of each and everytime they entered my home to set the bed up. These fellows re-measured and personally made the slats and feet out of solid oak wood on site.. The wood was stained perfectly to match the wood on the bed frame. These fellows worked methodically to set my bed up and put the invicase protectors on each piece and made sure the bed was sitting the way it should. These fellows even offered to help me make the bed. They also agreed to come back in six months to rotate the bed for us as recommended by the Winndom Mattress Company, as well as recommended by Michelle and Annette. We are in the process of sleeping on it for the first 90 days. If the mattress does not feel right to us in 90 days, they will come back out and take the mattress back to the factory and adjust it to meet our personal needs. But this mattress feels so wonderful, I don’t think it will be necessary. The Winndom Mattress and BedCrafters by Michelle go above and beyond selling mattress sets. They offer everyone a goodnights sleep for life. Another thing I wish to say is that I am beyond thrilled that the WINNDOM mattresses are made here in Hopewell, Virginia. That supports our local economy and the MADE IN THE USA concept! Great Company, Great Mattress sets.
